Suggestions
As this is an easy but long hike, I recommend starting early and taking advantage of the excellent cuisine at the Munt da Rina and Monte Muro refuges.
Safety guidelines
There are no exposed and/or dangerous sections. We recommend making sure that the huts are open, otherwise take some sandwiches with you.
Directions
Starting from Antermoia, follow trail 20B to Alfarei. Still on trail 20B, continue to the crossroads where you follow trail 26B towards Munt da Rina. At the Munt da Rina hut, follow trail no. 26 to Col dal Lé and Lake Munt da Rina. Path 37 descends to Forcella di Lijun and continues on path 1A to Monte Muro and Rifugio Monte Muro. Following trail no. 1, just before Pé de Börz, turn left and follow trail no. 1B then trail no. 1A to Antermoia.
public transportation
Antermoia, the starting point of the excursion, is easily reached by public transport. To find out the timetable, do the appropriate research at https://www.suedtirolmobil.info/en/
How to get there
Antermoia can be reached from Brunico-Longega as well as from Corvara, taking the road signposted San Martino and Passo delle Erbe at the Piccolino junction. After passing the village of San Martino, continue in the direction of Passo delle Erbe until you reach Antermoia.
Where to park
It is possible to park your car free of charge directly in the centre of Antermoia at the little football pitch.
No special equipment is needed other than hiking shoes, a windbreaker and plenty of water to drink.
